What it is and how it works

The energy, UVC at 254 nm wavelength, is supplied by low pressure
germicidal lamps. The primary radiation generated by the lamps consists almost exclusively of a spectral line at 254nm, which is very close to the maximum for the germicidal effect.

The lamps are arrayed arround an irradiation chamber/chambers.
The chambers are contstructed to allow the transmission of UVC (254nm) to the inner wall. The internal mixing elements of the irradiation chamber provide a unique characteristic that ensures that a constantly changing thin film is generated at the inner wall. The unique mixing also ensures that there are no dead zones within the irradiation chamber. The efficiency of the system is so high that optically dense fluids can be virally inactivated to regulatory levels of  log kill.

Production systems are cGMP compliant and fully instrumented for regulatory requirements.

The systems are stand alone skid mounted easy to install and fit into clients existing environment via tri-clamp or clients preferred connectors
